The Second Amendment Foundation (www.saf.org) is the nations oldest and largest tax-exempt education, research, publishing and legal action group focusing on the Constitutional right and heritage to privately own and possess firearms. Founded in 1974, The Foundation has grown to more than 600,000 members and supporters and conducts many programs designed to better inform the public about the consequences of gun control. SAF has previously funded successful firearms-related suits against the cities of Los Angeles; New Orleans; New Haven, CT; and San Francisco on behalf of American gun owners, a lawsuit against the cities suing gun makers and an amicus brief and fund for the Emerson case holding the Second Amendment as an individual right.

Alan M. Gottlieb

Alan Gottlieb founded the Second Amendment Foundation in 1974. He is the author of many books, most recently America Fights Back with Dave Workman. He has been published in many national papers, and has appeared on over 3,500 radio and television shows.

Joseph P. Tartaro

Joe Tartaro is president of the Second Amendment Foundation, and the executive editor of Gun Week. He appears frequently on national television and radio shows and his editorials are widely published. Mr. Tartaro is the author of Revolt in Cincinnati, a frequently cited history of the reform movement that rocked the National Rifle Association in 1977.

Dave Workman

Dave Workman is Senior Editor of Gun Week and an award-winning outdoor writer. He is the author of Washington State Gun Rights and Responsibilities, and America Fights Back (with Alan Gottlieb). His byline has appeared in many national Op-Ed pages. He is a nationally-published gun writer, appearing regularly in Gun World, Gun Digest, and Fishing & Hunting News. He served three terms on the NRA Board of Directors, and is a certified firearms instructor.

Mark A. Taff

Mark A. Taff is Technical Services Director as well as the Webmaster for ChicagoGuncase.com. Mr. Taff is a U.S. Army veteran, having served with the “Big Red One” in the 1990 Persian Gulf War. He was elected and served on the City Council of Colville, Washington. Mark is continuing his study of aerospace engineering.
