Alan Gura

Alan Gura is a founding member of Gura & Possessky, PLLC, a Washington, D.C. law firm focusing primarily on civil rights, appellate litigation, intellectual property, and media/entertainment matters. Alan successfully led and argued the landmark challenge to Washington, DC’s gun ban before the Supreme Court. Prior to opening his own practice in 2001, Alan’s experience included service as a Deputy Attorney General for the State of California, Counsel to the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee, and as an attorney with the Washington, D.C. office of Sidley & Austin. Alan began his legal career clerking for the Hon. Terrence W. Boyle, United States District Judge for the Eastern District of North Carolina. Alan received his BA from from Cornell University, and his JD from Georgetown University.

David Sigale

David G. Sigale is the principal of Law Firm of David G. Sigale, P.C., in Lisle, Illinois.  Mr. Sigale has over a decade’s experience counseling and representing corporate and individual clients all over the Chicagoland area, as well as clients across the United States.  His practice focuses on commercial, general and appellate litigation, and has litigated cases involving employment, real estate, eminent domain, criminal law and tort liability.  He has also counseled in First Amendment freedom of speech issues, and is pursuing federal antitrust litigation against various real estate brokerages and realtors in northwest Illinois.  Mr. Sigale received his J.D. in 1996 from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington D.C., where he served as Publications Editor of the Georgetown Immigration Law Journal.  He received his B.A. in 1992 from Indiana University – Bloomington.
